BRIEF OVERVIEW: The canyon is one of the deepest in the world and home of the majestic condor. Arequipa’s mild climate and altitude (2,300 meter above sea level – 7,500 ft.) make in the perfect place to acclimatize before continuing the trip to Cusco or Puno If you are e thinking to go to Cusco for Inca trail, this is the best way to practice and acclimatize.
DURATION : 05 DAYS

DAY 01.- COLCA VALLEY, .- breakfast, around 08:00 hours leaving to colca canyon tour, on the road we can see VICUÑA, some birds and also we will pass the highest viewpoint at 4 850m, from here we can see all the volcanoes of the valley, once in Chivay village, accommodation, in the afternoon, you can swim on the hot springs pools, which has a therapeutic properties, later back to the hotel, a small folk show at night in chivay
DAY 02.- early breakfast, and leaving to the Cruz Condor lookout. Here we can see the depth of the canyon as well as the flight of the Condors, transfer to the Cabanaconde, we start hiking down the wall of the canyon on this narrow way, we wil cross the river and hike up to Llaguar village, Here we can enjoy the thermal baths and watch the geysers, we can also fish for trout along the river. We will spend our first night here., lunch and dinner.
DAY 03.- early breakfast and continue to the ancient village of Llatica (2,438m), and a series of beautiful places. We will arrive at the camp in a small village, a beautiful oasis after around 5 hours walking. We will have lunch here and after a short rest we will head to the beautiful Cataratas de Huaruro, as well as the falls of the River Tocallo. We will return to Fure and spend our second night in comfortable cabins.
DAY 04 . breakfast and continue to Sangalle, after walking for four hours we will arrive at Oasis. Here we will have lunch and a free afternoon to enjoy a swim in natural pool (24ºC) and exploring the surroundings. After 4 hours of rest and relaxation we will climb the southern slope of the Colca Canyon to arrive at the ancient town of Cabanaconde (3 hours walking), where we will have dinner and spend our third night in a hotel
DAY 05.- early breakfast and we will then take the transport to the lookout of the Canyon to see flight of the condor as well as the depth of the canyon. After that we will continue to Chivay, and then at noon back to the White City , where we will arrive at around 6 pm. You will then be transferred back to your hotel (acommodation no included)
