sites in the world. Machu Picchu was originally completely self-contained, surrounded by agricultural terraces sufficient to feed the population, and watered by natural springs. Located high above the fast flowing Urubamba
River, the cloud shrouded ruins have palaces, baths, temples, storage rooms and some 150 houses, all in a remarkable state of preservation that will simply take your breath away.

DAY 01.- our english speaking guide will collect from your hotel in cusco and transferred to the train station to go to the mysterious lost city of Machu Picchu, the journey by train will take 4 hours. Which is a slow zigzag trip, the landscapes of the journey are so nice, you will arrive to Aguas Calientes village(the last stop of the train) and from here you will take 25-minute bus ride up to the arqueological site, Your first views will be of Huayna Picchu (“Young Mountain”) ,once on the lost city of Machupicchu our local guide will give you an approx 2½ hour guided walking tour of the ruins explaining all about the culture, the buildings and the lifestyle of the Incas. and after your guide will give you enough free time to explore the ruins at your leisure. Note that you have to be at the train station in aguas calientes village 15 minutes in advance and remember that the bus down to the Aguas Calientes village will take about 25 minutes. Depending on the amount of time you spend at the ruins you may also be able to visit the nearby hot springs (entrance fee not included), located just behind the town of Aguas Calientes. Most trains depart Aguas Calientes between 16:00 and 17:00 hours, the journey is 4 hours too , once in cusco, you will be transferred to your hotel (no include in the price)
