DAY 01.- arrive to Lima, flight connection to Cusco, reception and transfer to the selected hotel, rest of the day free to rest.
DAY 02.- breakfast full day tour to visit the 4 arqueological sites near to the city like Saccsayhuaman, Quenqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay, we will continue to the Sacred Valley tour, where we visit to the small village of Pisac and its indian market, the small villages aorund the Urubamba river, lunch, then to the most important ruin Ollantaytambo, we will back to Cusco visiting the Village of Chincheros, transfer to the hotel.
DAY 03.- early breakfast, transfer to the train station, train to the nearest village to Machupicchu “Aguas Calientes”, reception and transfer to the hotel, afternoon free to explore at your leisure.
DAY 04.- early breakfast, bus to the Machupicchu, guided tour to the lost city of the Incas, in the afternoon train back to Cusco, transfer to the hotel.
DAY 05.- breakfast and transfer to the airport, flight to Puerto Maldonado (jungle), reception, boat trip through the river to the lodge Posada Amazonas, after lunch, Canopy tour dinner
DAY 06.- breakfast, Tres Chimbadas is thirty minutes by boat and forty five minutes hiking from Posada Amazonas. Once there you will paddle around the lake in a catamaran, searching for the resident family of nine giant river otters (seen by 60% of our lake visitors) and other lakeside wildlife such as caiman, hoatzin and horned screamers. Then ti the parrot clay lick, it is only a twenty minute walk from Posada Amazonas. From a blind located about twenty meters away you will see dozens of parrots and parakeets descend on most clear mornings to ingest the clay on a river bank. Species such as Mealy and Yellow- headed Amazon, Blue-headed Parrot and Dusky headed Parakeet descend at this clay lick. The clay lick is most active at dawn and during the late mornings and mid-afternoons. Lunch , visit the Centro Ñape, shich is a communal organization that produces medicines out of forest plants and administers them to patients who choose their little clinic. They have produced a trail which explains the different medicinal (and other) uses of selected plants. Dinner, and at night optional walking
DAY 07.- breakfast, and transfer to the airport, flight back to Lima, receptoin and transfer to the selected hotel, in the afternoon City Tour of Lima modern and Colonial. Back to the hotel.
DAY 08.- last breakfast, transfer out.
