DAY 01.- Arrive to Lima, connection flight to Arequipa, reception and transfer to the selected hotel, rest of the morning free, in the afternoon, City Tour, you will visit lookouts as well as the main square, company complex, and the most important monastery, in the afternoon back to the hotel
DAY 02.- breakfast and leaving to the Colca Valley, on the road we appreciate the Vicuñas, some birds, different flora and fauna, and we will pass the highest point at 4 850 masl. Then go down to the biggest village in the valley, lunch, in the afternoon you can enjoy of the natural hot springs. Back to the hotel.
DAY 03.- early breakfast, and by car to the principal lookout of the canyon, where you can see the depth of the canyon as well the flight of the condors, after that you will be transferred to the Cabanaconde Village at 25 minutes far away from the lookout, from here begin the trekking into the canyon after 5 hours you will arrive to LLaguar community, on the road we can appreciate the geysers as well the different flora and fauna of the canyon, in that place to can enjoy of a relaxing shower in the hot springs, rest of the day free to explore the place at your leisure. Basic accommodation
DAY 04.- breakfast, and continue the trek 4 hours more to the community of Oasis, rest of the day free. Cabins it is a basic accommodation
DAY 05.- early breakfast this is the hardest day, around 03:30 begin the ascend to the Cabanaconde Village around 07:00 breakfast, the guide will collect you from here for going to the lookout of the Canyon, after appreciate again the deph and th e condors, back to Arequipa, transfer to the hotel.
DAY 06.- breakfast, transfer to the airport, flight to Cusco, reception and transfer to the hotel, morning free, in the afternoon City Tour, you will visit the Cathedral, Koricancha temple as well as the 4 nearest ruins of the city.
At night the guide will give you the briefing of the Inca trail in your hotel
DAY 07.- Cuzco – Km 82 –after our inca trail english speaking guide gave the briefing last night, this morning he will collect you from your hotel around 06:00 hoyrs to travel by car to Km 82 which is at2,680m, the start of the Inca Trail. We will make a short stop at Ollantaytambo village to use toilets and buy walking sticks, water and last minute and some snacks. this day is relatively easy, reasonably flat we walk about 4½ hour , it is around 10-12km.depending on the walking speed of the group, in this day we can see .the archaeological sites of Llactapata, the camp is Wayllabamba which is at 3,000m
DAY 08.- WARMIWAÑUSCA, breakfast and around 6am, start our 2 nd day of trek, the hardest day of the trail because we walk around 7 hours and the route is steep, However it is not technically difficult and can be completed by anyone of any age who leads a reasonably active life, begins with a gradual ascent covering around 2km, followed by a challenging 7km constant uphill hike to reach the highest point at Warmiwañusca or ‘Dead Woman’s Point at 4,200m. remember that this is no a competition, take this section entirely at your own pace. Once on the highest point you will see the fantastic views of the surrounding snow capped peaks, After the high pass it’s a further 3km downhill, winding along old Inca stairs to the campsite (3,600m).
DAY 09.- RUNKURAKAY , early breakfast and the trek begins with and a gradual 2km uphill hike to the second high pass, Runkurakay at 3,950m. Again the pass affords excellent views of the magnificent Andes. Most of the next 6km is downhill and we have a chance to explore the fascinating ruins of Sayacmarca. The scenery becomes more lush as we continue towards the third high pass at Phuyupatamarca (3,580m). From here we have a further 5km downhill to reach the final campsite at Winay Wayna (2,650m). Although downhill most of the way, this section has many steps as the path winds around the side of the mountain and can be demanding on your legs – particularly if you are stiff from the climb up to Dead Woman’s Pass! The camp at Winay Wayna is a welcome sight and your efforts can be rewarded with a cold beer and a shower.
DAY 10.- SUN GATE- MACHUPICCHU, On the last morning we rise before dawn (4am) to begin the final section of the trail to the famous ‘Sun Gate’ (Intipunku) and on to Machu Picchu. After breakfast, have a very early start to arrive in time for sunrise at Machu Picchu.
After a one hour walk the Inti Punku or the Gate of the Sun, also known as the Entrance Gate to Machu Picchu, we are continuing to descend through the forest towards, this section is a combination of steps both up and down, It is approx 4km from Winay Wayna to the Sun Gate and the final push includes a set of steep Inca stairs, which will almost certainly take your breath away, the sun gate is 345 metres higher than Machupicchu, where you will have the most impressive panoramic view of the citadel. Upon arrival at Machu Picchu, around three-hours guided tour around the citadel, visiting the main sites and monuments. After the tour you will have free time to wander around, then you will meet with the rest of the group to drive by bus down to Aguas Calientes. In the afternoon, transfer by train to Cusco. Upon arrival in Cusco transfer to your hotel
DAY 11.- breakfast,. Morning free, at noon transfer to the airport, flight to Lima, reception and transfer to the hotel, free afternoon.
DAY 12.- last breakfast, transfer out.
