BRIEF OVERVIEW: This impressive and subtle archeological complex is found 72 km away from the city. Only 10 percent of the ceremonial and administrative city has been uncovered. It dates back from the XIIIth century. It is believed that the oldest American civilization was developed here around the year 1600 A.C. A straight architecture line draws a crowned horizon of the massive Andean mountains. DURATION: HALF DAY

DAY 01.- the guide will collect you from your hotel in La Paz at 8:00 hours, and wil take our trasnport to
72Km. from La Paz, we will visit a pre-inca archaeological place "Tiwanaku". This place is known by their monuments and by their admirable litica sculpture. Also, it's one of the great monumental centers of native Andean cultures. In this Bolivia archaeological capital, we will be able to visit the Templete semi-underground, Kalasasaya, the great sun door, one of the best conserved ruins, is an agriculture calendar. In the Kalasasaya sector you can see two monolitos. There are also underground temples whose walls have painted on them face pictures.
